Breeding Program

Ch Tawny Mist Whispering Wind (Wyndi) and her beautiful babies. Wyndi is co-owned and the litter co-bred with Wind Dancer Silky Terriers.

We maintain a versatile breeding program by keeping a small number of Champion Silky's at home and co-owing Champion Silkys in both American and Canada. Silky's bred from these coownerships allow us to manage an active breeding program without keeping large numbers of dogs. These co-ownership arrangements are beneficial to all parties as we offer to show and provide stud service to approved bitches.

All our litters are the result of careful research and planning. Our goals include producing consistency in type and quality while carefully eliminating faults. Our puppies are raised in a home environment with special consideration given to early socialization. All potential homes are subject to detailed screening.

Our Champion males are offered at stud to approved bitches. Brucellosis testing is required for all breedings. In addition, we have a program for screening patellar luxation through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.
